GREENSBORO — A Taize prayer service will be held Saturday, March 11, following the 5 p.m. Mass at St. Pius X Church.
Led by Felician Sister Judith M. Kubricki, Ph.D, the prayer service will feature song, silence and Scripture in an atmosphere of quiet reflection.
The music is simple, with brief refrains repeated in the manner of the mantra of the Eastern Church or the rosary of the Western Church.
A light meal will be served beforehand. The event is free, but people are encouraged to register by calling the parish office at 336-272-4681.
