CHARLOTTE — Members of the St. Brendan the Navigator and the Sons of Erin Divisions of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, along with family members and friends, joined forces March 3 at Selwyn Elementary School in Charlotte to prepare more than 450 sandwiches for the local homeless as part of the Operation Sandwich program of the Urban Ministry Center of Charlotte.
The Cork & Cask in Cornelius, Park Road Harris Teeter, BJ’s Metro and the Mecklenburg County AOH Board all made contributions to support this effort.
