BOONE — Three parishioners of St. Elizabeth Church – Sam Copenhaver, Alexander Degen and Mark Mellon – were recently awarded the Ad Altare Dei award. The Ad Altare Dei award is for Catholic Boy Scouts to help them develop their Christian faith. Sam and Alexander are members of BSA Troop 100, and Mark is a member of BSA Troop 109.

CHARLOTTE — Four Boy Scouts from Boy Scout Troop 288 at St. Vincent de Paul Church – Will Horne, Riley Hagemeyer, Timo Cashman and Zach Tennyson – earned their Eagle Scout rank May 11.
