When Good Shepherd was being expanded in 2002, some materials available from other churches were used, including Stations of the Cross from St. Benedict the Moor in Winston-Salem and pews from Holy Cross Church in Kernersville. The new altar was crafted from a fallen tree in a parishioner’s yard.
